If I had my way, I'd remove that silly "wing" bit that the bumps are on anyway. All it is there for is for a bumpstop. Or unstitch it, and relocate further up the inner guard... hmm... there's an idea. Cover it up in loads of underseal goop, it was always like that. You could gain a couple of inches that way, and there's an easy 2 more inches lower it could go, especially on my standard balloons.

No chance of flipped centers, not a huge fan of that myself. Plus polishing the inner lip is something I mostly can't be bothered with, these fit well and look pretty good.

I looked at whether or not the center can be mounted behind the lip(s) like people do with BBS LM's, but the spoke design isn't dead flat so this won't work.

Still, they are a 3 piece so getting new outers made isn't something that's out of the question/it is because the expense would be horrendous vs. value of vehicle.
