MichaelJFox
Paint looks awesome man! And that turbo motor, sickk. Must come see this thing when its done. I'd be a little worried about fucking your guards up also, mine still hit whilst turning with standard wheels in the front with a 2" narrowed beam, you'd hate to crack that fresh paint. I think I'm getting a 1600 Single Port with a 110 cam, balanced and blueprinted soon. Just for a little more pep up the hills haha.

KKtrips
Chhhoice man.. Super progress!! One thing - only fools and old woman question a half finished job but I assume are you going to paint/underseal the underside of the wheelarches once its all bolted on for the last time - just the visible primer etc is really distracting.. Snoozin
This looks incredible, really digging it mate. Once you've finished those few little touches mentioned last night, howabout we rendezvous for a photo shoot for our fresh blog. It's got a super unique look to it IMO - it's not quite fully restored to OG spec to look at, yet it's not quite "VW scene" in it's appearance, a really sweet, subtle middle ground going on. If that even makes a lick of sense...
10Speed
a shoot would be cool... will keep you posted about the completion of the finer details... when I was a kid, I was really taken with the resto-rod style hotrods I kept seeing in US mags (pre-internet days obviously) and this is my take on that with a beetle (though some credit needs to go to the orginal owner who widened the steels before most people were doing that with bugs)
