  2. So, thanks to @Raizer @Shakotom @chris r @GuyWithAviators I was able to pick up my new daily from Gisborne. Drove it back in the rain with a blown master cylinder and no read trailing arm bush, which took 12 hours, then proceeded to get a WOF and apply some low. Photos of collection, when collected and now upcoming. Mid drive back; Got the beast back home and gave it all a clean; Then I wanted to apply some lows, test fitted these wheels I had; Picked up a set of cheap D2s and all the collars and body adjustment was seized, couple days of bathing in coke then hitting with a torch and pry bars and it all came loose so gave those a good once over. Got back home and promptly chucked them in; That brings us up to date, just enjoying dragging mudflaps around the place. Good to be back in a shuttle again, RIP my old one.
  3. I feel like this threads already a couple purchases behind now haha. @Shakotom
  4. Ha - I was tempted to grab this myself when it came up, but I was in Raglan in a yurt with no power for the weekend and had 1% battery when Thomas linked me it. Have fun with it man!
  5. Survived East Cape on this thing. What a laugh that was, having never ridden gravel, wet or clay shit before. Was much slower than most, and had a handful of 'oh shit' moments, but it was rad. Couple photos to prove the bike and I survived;
  6. Shiiiiiit yeahhhhhhhhhhh. I haven't watched yet, but hyped anyway haha. Edit; yeah nice, liked the unexpected Action Bronson.
  7. But you've got a Pyzar now @GuyWithAviators - moving up in the world.
  8. He pretty much did with that "We're just a bunch of motorcyclists who happened to drive through Opotiki at the same time" haha. Brilliant.
  9. Shit I'm hyped to see this haha. When you mentioned it I didn't think it would actually happen.

  11. Fuck what a weekend. Motu was such an experience going from only ever ridden suburban paved roads to wet clay n rock but shit I'm glad I stuck it out. Managed to get quite a bit of cornering confidence up on the last day and had a tonne of fun. Thanks everyone involved, 10/10 would trade again.
  12. Just saw @MopedNZ video - damn, guys brave running a Z50 haha. So dope.
  13. Yeah I got a rain jacket and PVC over pants that'll melt on my exhaust.
  14. You down there already Greg? Edit: what's the weather looking like down those ways? looks like we're gonna be hitting showers most of the way.

  18. My "toolkit" will consist of a spark plug, tools do change a spark plug, a tube, tools to do said tube, a fuel line and a throttle cable thanks to @Shakotom. It seems like most people have a fairly full on kit so shouldn't be short tools.
  19. Full disclosure I am literally incapable of swimming, so I will be far away from any water sports bar crossing the ford.
  20. I'm fairly sure there are a bunch of other dudes running 10" wheels - so we'll all be fashioning a makeshift raft if it goes wrong.
