I think this is up there in my top ten car experiences ever, and certainly one of, if not the best that I've ever had in the Escort. What a day! Privileged doesn't even begin to cover the emotions I have towards being given such an opportunity to see and do what we did. A massive thanks to Rod for showing us around his property and a huge thanks to Amy, Karl and to the awesome job your dad did of guiding us around Rod's place, he did a great job!

Car ran great, most of the cyclists were fairly accommodating towards the cars that needed to pass, of course there's a few that try to make up for their lack of wheels and an engine to make others lives difficult but you get that. The weather gods were kind and the gods of tarmac were smiling upon us for sure.

What. A. Day!

Super, super, super lush. Thanks to all involved for making this fanboy's weekend! The first visit was mindblowing, but this time round was even better, which makes it all the more special.

Had a massive foam over pretty much all of the vehicles, and the epic view, and and AND the log cabin :D

What a day! Epic. Big thanks to Amy, Karl, their Dad and anyone else who helped organise it. And a Super Big Thank You to Rod for opening the gates and hosting us. A real privilege. If I was going to do a money no object property it would be pretty much as his ranch! Great to see a Kiwi boy who has done so well and worked so hard to create it.

A little foot note, to the OldSchooler in the black Porsche: If you enjoyed the run back over the hill you Really need to do the Gumboot as its that supersized on better roads.
