I finally got this back after yet another engine rebuild. It was driving like no other engine that had been built for me so much torque. I was very happy even starting normally for the first time since the EFI set up had been on. I was thinking time to enjoy and just drive it over summer. Went to take it for a drive a week in and it spat the dumby melted two spark plugs dropped an electrode down number 4 cylinder. and yet another xflow stuffed didn't even get 800km out of it. I'm so over xlfows not another cent will be spent on an old engine. The van is lucky its still in my garage after this last melt down it was almost sold as is. The question is now to Zetec or to sell it lot and work on the RS and just have one nice car. I don't think the post is worthy of a photo sorry guys.

This post is well over due for an update. I still own it on around the 4th engine many stories to tell but not ones of good news. Its been getting a new engine and a few other bits done over the last little while. So much has been done so many photos so much work will slowly try to update no longer a work van just a toy now.

I might make this now I live down here

Haven't been for a while but rebuild has taken a year so far almost there . The bakery has me very busy at the moment I might have to be next month sorry

Been working away on this almost running is very different from when I first got it much work has been done over the last couple of years should be all legal and back to daily at Easter Some photos of the changes up and running EFI working well but hard to start Some new wheels arrived but due to the adjustable A arms and other mods to the front the off set doesn't work . Next problem was the 105 speed headers yet again . I thought I would try one more time but they failed . But the life it had with them on was a large difference So back to the drawing board what to do and I will work on catching this up to where it is up to so much has been done

My Xflow is the other way high pressure oil pump same as Pete. I have 60 pis on start up and as it warms up it drops down to 40

Drag off my little van no turbo needed due to your power plant being more than twice the size of a little xflow

I'm not having a winge . Just really missed the relaxed style in the way the meeting are held where we all have a look at each others cars and talk about them. I'm keen for any where and I agree its just a really busy city now days

So busy there no parking. What is the plan for meets moving forward ? What about Mt Wellington Burger Fuel car park is no where near as crazy busy we might be able to park more than 2 cars beside each other

A little more No real power but ok for a 40 year old car

Almost 2 years little van has been busy done a couple of Gumboot rallies with all of of the greatness of 49hp then the motor gave up 1.3 xflow they go forever sometimes . Motor finally died so put the old sport engine into this to help it get a little more power so fancy rebuild a few extra engine bits and what can it do ???? drive line has a fair bit of work to match loads to update

I have a cut down lay shaft to help with the reassembly if you want to borrow will help with all those needle rollers ?
