rotorhoe
Leadfoot Derelicts Location: Leadfoot Ranch, Hahei. Date: Saturday January 4 and Saturday January 25, 2014. Other days: Every Saturday in January (4, 11, 18, 25) Time: 7am. Every Saturday morning throughout January 2014 Rodney is hosting a early morning meet up event at his very own gas station in Hahei. Karl (BDA780) and myself thought considering the month is full of motorsport events we could try get a group down for the 4th and 25th of Jan and display some of the fine vehicles we have, as Rodney is extremely fond of oldschool. If you are in the area for any of these meets (4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th) then by all means pop along and say hi to him as he said, he doesn't mind if it is just him parking his own cars up for a laugh. Will update with more details as time comes, you guys can use this as a discussion thread for interest and availability and we will go from there! Snoozin
4th or 11th work like a charm for me also. 18th and 25th unfortunately doesn't due to D1NZ and NZFMR clashes.

kiwi808
Keen for the 4th. After that work takes over for another year.... For those keen on a 4th of Jan cruise, will it be a Friday arvo cruise down, stay local, then head over Saturday morning? Not keen to get up at 4am as I am old and on Holiday.

Styles
I can't do the 25th, but the 4th sounds especially interesting....
michaelme
4th sounds most achievable.

We are asking regarding accommodation, will be first in first served by PM (as long as we know you etc) type thing if it happens that way. The 25th is better in terms of accommodation/ it is long weekend too.

Styles
Well if anyone else is silly enough, pending weather (old Toyotas dissolve in rain), I'll be doing the early mission down and back by lunch time on the 4th, so would be happy to meet with any like-minded persons at the BP Drury motorway stop, leaving at say 5am...... Then head home after it all wraps up at 9am, back in time for lunch......
BDA780
First post updated. The 4th looks like the most achievable for OS members. As an alternative the 25th may be a goer. For those wanting to drive down from the City of Sails in the small hours of the morning, its best to meet at BP at Mill Rd (Bombay) at 4:45am leaving at 5am. Here: https://maps.google.co.nz/maps?q=bp+pukekohe&ll=-37.193074,174.981748&spn=0.003782,0.006968&client=firefox-a&channel=fflb&fb=1&gl=nz&hq=bp&hnear=Pukekohe,+Auckland&t=h&fll=-37.192502,174.982032&fspn=0.003782,0.006968&z=18 Amy and I are looking into accommodation for the 25th for those wanting to head down on the Friday, with a cruise after the meet. So bring along your pride and joy and indulge in some yarns with a coffee in hand.
