Popular Post Steelies
right sorry about the delay. standing in the fireplace in the middle of the lounge, looking south at the kitchen sink. the oven/cooktop will be at your feet here, in a bench dead ahead, ie a chicane coming out of the hallway straight standing in the 'hallway' looking south, can see the toilet in the bathroom. 'washhouse' on the left, just before bedroom door. plumber has put washer connections in the wrong wall likely due to communication issues, i cant afford to change it yet , so washer will be sideways for now. sideways sickness standing in the toilet looking north into the shower. note builder's artwork gift haha. on the right of the shower is a hallway cupboard standing in shower looking south at toilet and hand basin standing in the bed looking north. left to right: door onto deck, wardrobe, washhouse, cavity slider to hallway. it's blossom festival, love it

yoeddynz
Dig a tunnel and add a basement. Seriously though.. have you got a hillside or bank you can dig into to create more shed space or bunker for impending doom? Totally not sure what your foundations are though... dirt or rock?
Popular Post Steelies
both.. dirt, rock, and small rock floating in dirt. any digging back would be undermining the neighbours. methinks any further developments would be in/on/around the existing garage. vague pines for sticking two 20'ers on top or two 40s and hang em off the back or never be involved in building a house ever again

Guest
Hey Manu, My daughter goes to school at a school in London where space is at a premium. The playground on the roof is constructed from shipping containers. http://www.containercity.com/projects/faraday-school Prince Charles thought it was pretty sweet and paid it a visit for its architectural merit. Perhaps he'll hear abou your prject and pay you a visit to? They're also building a sweet 'container city' on the wharf where the school is. It's pretty sweet IRL. http://www.trinitybuoywharf.com/about/container-city You should definitely go up!!!

yoeddynz
You are most welcome to come over and dig your own holiday hole on our block. Bring beer and other stuff. Its pretty much all either clay of sandy clay granite stuff. Perfect for digging into. We can have a party...

Chickity
What size/price range are you looking in?
Steelies
60cm freestanding gas cook top electric oven, no splashback. this is the only stz i want and can fit. boschy is round 2k delonghi like 2.5-2.8 astroblazer cheapy 1300 can't afford to have fun with this bit, so nothing wanky! got my eye on a second hand delonghi nearby. KK, i've lived off my camp cooker in the past and will likely do so again soon haha. goddam best $25 i've ever spent on that thing. melted itself 5 years ago and still smashing out wagnats toasties like a champ.
Chickity
Have never had a delonghi oven, but have had excellent service from other appliances of the same brand. What about a fisher and paykel?
