My name is Russell
haha! man its going to be so small Looks sweet to me in the plans you hosted on page 2. Do some nice outdoor spaces and you will be sweet as. Small is good. I found a mint spot today under some trees with 100s of self-seeded natives if you want to grow some from 50mm odd size, can pass on secrete spot. Give them some good soil, space and sun and they will take off.

63Ragtop
haha! man its going to be so small lots of light in there bro, would keep the insides light coloured.
cubastreet
advantage of being so small is that in winter you can just swap the led/cfl light bulbs out for tungsten ones and that'll be all the heating you'll need.

Chickity
Have you gone with double glazed windows? Or just standard single? Is your wiring/plumbing pre fixed, or are you going to poke holes in the walls when you get it? Give me all your informations.
SHGWAG
Double glazing is a requirement under the building code now IIRC.
lowlancer
Board and batten inside? Interesting. Have you done some form of H1 calculation for it? Aka thermal performance. Be keen to see how that shiz performs.
lowlancer
No it isn't shgwag. As long as the building performs to H1 you can use single glazing, depends on the method you you to achieve requirements, aka calculation, schedule etc Common and erroneous belief. Edit: sorry sound like a jerk there dogg
kicker
I hear staining ply can be a bit iffy with it not staining evenly and causing blotches but apparently some prep and good stain product can overcome it. A wood beard would be able to give you the right advice.

CaMpylobacter
fuck yeah nzers are retarded with how much glass goes into houses we need to think of zombie apocalypse lowl
lowlancer
Thermally, double glazing doesn't do that much tbh, we're talking an R value increase from 0.15 to 0.26. Real gains are had through argon filled/low E and thermally broken suites etc but even then, better spending the $$$ on better wall/roof/floor insul imo. V8Pete
I'd be interested to know how warm it gets in summer too. Should be sweet with the extra roof thing though.
