ThePog
Ha, I went to change the raggedy belts on my Merc goon, opened the bonnet, looked at the actual situation, then drove it to the mechanic to do.
keltik
Boot lid and lights turned up today! Might fit the lights tonight and see how they look. Boot lid turned up with a corner of it bent in but i guess thats far far easier to fix than 90% of it having turned to rust like my current one. Chopped out the rear-most mufflers to try and make it sound a bit tougher. Was fucking rediculously loud and sounded silly so am getting them welded back in. An expensive exercise but at least now i know. Excited for weekend drive

keltik
Got the new lights on there. I do like em better. Just need to decide what color to paint the surrounds or maybe even leave as is. Thoughts?
Vintage Grumble
Leave as is I say, blacking it out would look very odd.
keltik
Pictures dont show it very well but the surrounds are a champagne color as on most cars they were matched to the body paint. Its such a mild champagne it passes as silver which makes it look alright. Will need to whip them out at some point to replace one of the beams so can paint them then. keltik
And theres a guy on trademe selling a TWR kit. He wants too much money at the moment tho but i am sorely tempted. And ohmyword. What were they thinking?!
Beaver
colour match/dark light surrounds IMO
CaMpylobacter
that kit looks like balls. just slam it so it's actually lower rather than being a fag with a kit and stock suspension. like the updated lights. would probably black the surrounds. kyteler
Yeah, black/dark grey/something else/leave the surrounds off for the ultimate feral Jag look.
UTERUS
Matte black everything with big wheels and super slam. If you like that drug dealer look.
KKtrips
twin headlights = way better leave surrounds silver and rusty bonnet that shit like Joes 205...
Vintage Grumble
Yeh, that kit is rather gay/you dont get much/waste of timeslashmoney. Matty B surrounds with current car colour would look ass, I rection. I think slam and wheels should be the main pri-ror-rit-tee.
