danger
If you're not gonna bother with a new gasket atleast use a good quality RTV sealant. Why does it matter?
LingLing
I have toyota new gasket. yes it does matter when I am on the track. Can you guys not tell?

LingLing
I understand that 1 way does acceleration, where two way does acceleration and deceleration. Ok, danger, no worries. thanks anyway

ryanfels
People on the Hachi facebook page will more likely be able to tell you over people here
Dell'orto
If its a TRD one, then it could be either 1.5 or 2 way, depending on how its been setup. I have some sort of aftermarket T series LSD, but it has no identifying marks on it at all.
LingLing
ryan I have done that. also toyspeed people told me it's surely trd, but again, wouldn't know 1,1.5 or 2 way til taking the actual diff out
flyingbrick
take it for a thrash and then tell us if its 1, 1.5 or 2 way. If you can't tell then it DOESN'T MATTER! Anyway. Its got so much rust than it'll probably not make it to the next track day.

Rookie
Out of the 11ty photos you took, not one of them shows the area of the head that would let you identify what sort of LSD it is. Take a photo of the ramps and then we will tell you.
LingLing
yeh, well, ok, will let someone with experience drive it then we will know I guess.
LingLing
Ok, bit screw up today. I have replaced the exhaust system for the panda today and it couldn't start. basically didn't touch anything else, except the taking the distributor off and put it back on again. only touched two bolts that holding the distributor to the engine. all the wiring is untouched. also, the exhaust temperature sensor is also swapped the wiring on the sensor is bit doggy, but this wouldn't be the problem right?? So the problem is I can turn the car on, start cranking, start motor is good, The Exhaust is actually farting quite a bit, but just can't start. Would the mega squirt ecu need read good exhaust temperature sensor? or Would it be the exhaust slightly leaking at the extractor, because I don't have all the bolts. or Did I screw up the timing? durty
distributor on the right way? not bolted back on straight?
LingLing
right way? err, does it have to be exact same spot as before??? because the distributor have two screws that can be adjusted up and down?
KKtrips
Sounds like you have put the timing out. Are these dizzys on a gear or a dog drive?
