Raizer
910 Bluebird, L engined ones. Need to cut your hoses to fit and drill a couple of extra mount holes on the mounting bits of the rad. Testament
pick a part mission with a tape measure? 910 bluebird one probably isnt a heck of alot easier to find than a genuine cortina one.
Borgweiser
Quite a lot of radiator shops have a by mail service, i'd recommend ringing around as many as poss and getting quotes and asking about availability of NOS parts. Try Petone Radiators, They have heaps of NOS radiators sitting upstairs, surely they'd have one for a Bro'tina... A new radiator is a glorious thing, secondhand one in my experience tends to be a waste of time
Spencer
Yup shelling out for a re-core or a new radiator is the way to go

KKtrips
Checked with my rad guy who gives me mad hookups and his price to me is $280ish - so sounds like your $320 is a decent price TBH. Git er done lad...
JasonK
Get a price on getting a brand new one too, when I was doing radiators about 60% of the time it was cheaper to buy a new one than recore it, I'm fairly certain they still make new ones for cortina's
camo_78
guy i got price from said he cant get new ones anymore, and looking at 500+ for a custom alloy job :/ .will ring around more places in chch before looking further afield, the place K-trips mentioned could be a go though

pusherman
ive been told that there is a honda civic radiator that will fit a escort and is ally and runs side to side rather than up and down like old fords. but the point being i can only guess that it will fit a corty and the inlet/outlet are in the right place

Bling
Second hand something will be cheaper. But when it starts to leak and you're again looking for a radiator you may regret not doing the recore. Years ago I got a "leak free" second hand one that ended up having more leaks than the one I was replacing. Got refund, then recore and never looked back. Will be doing the same for the escort when I get to that stage.

Chrome_GT
Capri 2000GT recore only xcost me $200 from A1 Radiators in 2007 (maybe 2008). I had several spare radiators but when swapping them around i found they all had leaks or too many missing cooling fins. So got a recore - They come out looking like brand new!!. Pretty sure Cortina 2000 & Capri 2000 had almost exactly the same radiator - except the top hose connection switched sides or bent 90° or something. So a Capri radiator may be worth looking for on Trademe / ebay etc. Not 100% sure but Escorts ones have the same mounting positions too.
