Raizer
They look like you tried to build a rear nudge bar and failed miserably. Made me think of van rear bullbars as soon as I saw the pics!
karmagedon
wow, i could have saved myself alot of effort by just chopping some of those off.

Brock-Lee
will turn the rear mufflers into a water bong of sorts. No more harsh/hot exhaust smoke
mikuni
I think an improvement would be beginning the bend earlier (further back under the car) and having less rake on the exhausts. Thats if you can be arsed changing them, but I would seriously consider it. Can't really find an example.

Truenotch
2x Matty B pipes going straight out the back with an angle slash on the end would be sweet. MX5's are for having fun in, not ricing up....
Black Francis
phat. Those pipe would look good on a matt black 280z with widened steels and bolt on flares. You should just cut the tips a little(/heaps) and turn them not upwards/maybe angle sideways. Your mufflers full of water yet?
karmagedon
phat. Your mufflers full of water yet? Umm nah actually not ay. I tested it with a cup of roughly same diameter right next to tip during rain, and cup received hardly any water.

karmagedon
haha chur, But people are allowed their own opinions in the end. It is the e-nets after all. I would say it was a worthwhile effort. It taught me alot about making exhaust systems. There's always a first for something, and in most people's eyes a first attempt will usually be shot, yet the maker will think it's the greatest thing due to the time and effort he put in. Won't be working on this for a while though. I'm busy working on the locost at tech, should hopefully be starting that beast up soon. karmagedon
Hey guys, Im actually curious, how does one get a wider stance on a car?? Is it just by the offset of the wheels? Im talking about 70mm wider each side, so going 3" wider mags isn't really practical. However, I guess if you have 6" mags with a 0pt offset then that will give you your 3" extra width? Are there any other methods of doing this? 70mm spacers aren't exactly a good idea. Regards Dave.
thegreatestben
spacers are gay because they are yuck wheels anyway. Avoid the hassle and just buy some sportmaxxes. Like you should have done in the first place
karmagedon
don't like sportmaxxes at all ay.

karmagedon
I quite like them tbh. Agree that they need to be smaller though.
