These are some escort suspension setups I got photos of from the manfield meet just been

Note in this picture how the mount between diff and tramp rod is quite far from the housing to give good leverage ... iv been told idealy i want to get the eyelet about 160mm away from the housing (probably wont be able to achieve this due to ride height) and the bar at a 16 degree angle away from the housing.

The White Mk2 cossworth that was EXTREMELY quick with 300hp.

Could a sway bar be an alternative for a panhard rod.

13552315592165724663260.jpg

Allan Man replica .... I think i will do my panhard rod the same as his .... Note the tube that travels across the back of the body providing support for were the rod mounts to the body (a difficult part to get a ridged mount too) and as a brace.

just a few qustions mate if you can help

1 how wide is your diff from disc to disc?

2 what size wheels are on it ? and what off set?

3 are you front coil over set up alloy? just sitting on a steel ring.

cheers

dan

1. 1460mm however that was lying under the car trying to measure it myself. I may have the diff out tonight so will update with accurate measurements latter on.

2. 8" wide with 0 offset

3. Yup alloy sitting on steel seat that Jason turned up for me.

Just purchased oil cooler kit, now looking for oil catch tank and spacer kit.
