My name is Russell
Just making my own now as a few of the plates need to be diff sizes and shapes relative to the contours of the floor.
Gaz
As long as they meet the minimum size requirements then ya all G. Looks like ya got it sorted. Gotta have the nut welded on the plate member. Gaz
My name is Russell
I think every nut in my car is either welded in place or a riv nut literally ... to make assembly easier. Are you allowed to weld the plates in place or did we just do that because you already had a cert on your cortina? Otherwise rivets look like they will be an absolute cunt! My name is Russell
Should i be double or single plating? was going to just double plate so its 100% not going to be an issue. Ah plug welding it is
Gaz
Yes can weld. And that washer is not needed, in fact it is absolutely useless if the nut is welded on anyways I think I need to investigate this rivnutting you so love. Also, how long did it take you to take that pic of you on your jack Gaz
Gaz
Are those bolts to mount seat M12? They don't look it but hard to tell from pic. Gaz
