fuel
no cause the mount on the diff needs to pivot on the other axis - it's only going to deform so much as the rubber bush will allow it to and then it will either be bent panhard rod or torn off mount. *edit* whoops beaten to it haha
My name is Russell
What will happen if i leave it as is ... it wont pivot will it dow ok Bugger had it in there a nice tight fit n everything

eke_zetec_RWD
What will happen if i leave it as is ... it wont pivot will it dow ok Bugger had it in there a nice tight fit n everything argh like that you may as well not have a panhard rod, once they flex or bend while cornering they are pretty much useless. Simon
There must be a way to make that work if it fits well? Another bolt on the right hand side with axis parallel to car / driveshaft?
My name is Russell
rose joint i guess? Or i will just re arange the slot to vertical somehow, its only taked in place so not the end of the world, sums up my day well Had a picture of this in my head; And just presumed it would rotate at body mount/didn't think it through all that well

My name is Russell
d.p.n.s ... question time The wire i have running between the two gauges "Daisy Chain" is this correct? so i can have the "power wire harness" going into one of the gauges and the use the "Daisy Chain" to take power across to they gauge next door? Just going to have a read of the 'link' manual to check speed o and tach can be taken from it ... i hopeso.
d.p.n.s
from what i was told when i was looking at them yes thats the way to do it but i ended up getting a completly differant tacho as he didnt have the one you have (and i wanted) and i couldnt be fucked waiting for him to get them in lol

My name is Russell
Like a glove! absolutely perfect fit, and they are variable for adjustment. and they are only like 50 odd mm deep so you can even put the housing all back together to protect them etc. Happy as ... just have no idea of how to make them go
d.p.n.s
they are pretty easy to work just conect all the wires and i left the dash unscrewed and went for a drive with a gps system just stoped every now and then to fine tune them. i also got my van up to 235 kph would do more but it didnt feel very stable lol
My name is Russell
Wow really! scarry! my escort feels dodgy at 160 with bump steer etc. The guy who originally tuned my settup and is an authorised seller of link computers said; "That speedo will need a aftermarket ecu like a g3 minimum to work they wont work directly off a electronic speed sensor it needs a interface a g3 or g4 can do this" eeek what alternatives do i have? How did you get yours to run d.p.n.s
d.p.n.s
took me a while to get mine set up i had to make sure that all wires from the speed sensor and ecu were hooked up. i just followed the wiring diagram for my motor and put the speedo in where i thought it should go and after fucking with some wires while i had the rear on axle stands and the motor running with it in gear i got a signal and just went from there.. probly easyer to take to a auto elec lol dan
My name is Russell
Oh ok ... this guy is saying my ECU doesnt have the correct output for it i think? eek the G3's and G4's are super duper expensive!
