KKtrips
The helix gets dry on these puppies - lubricate the helix with machine oil - CRC etc will wash off with water - Viscous oil will attract dust and dirt and cause it to get sticky assume its this type?? tortron
It feeds upper cylinder lubricant. Cleans carbon deposits, cooler running, helps with no lead. All that jazz
tortron
awesome, a full year of nothing at all dammit, i really need to spend a day on this and go for a pootle. Side got scratched while my bike was being nicked, so needs a few touchups I have put sound deadening pretty much everywhere Turn it over on the crankhandle every so often (oh my starter motor works now) Cant wait to drive this after getting used to the truck, itl be a spaceship
Llama
Just curious, what did you use for sound-proofing? I need some in mine, but dynamat is insanely expensive.
tortron
Some silver backed tar stuff from trademe (theres none on there right now, but comes up in $30 and $100 lots) - stiks itself on, im happy to use it as everything is rust proofed and all the seals are water tight. also have jute type under carpet sound deadening, and just picked up some silver backed fluffy stuff, which will find its way into the firewall and wehrever else i can get it. Im expecting it to be a very comfortable ride (However iv never owned a car with sound deadening or even carpets )

DangerousPerson
My Minor had a handful of ear plugs that I claimed from the Wellington Library when it was under construction. Only in there for passengers since I just turned the stereo up til I couldn't hear road noise. ( No wonder I had to crank start it nearly every time).
