beachlander
Finally got some tires on the equips, and tried them on. As you can see, there is a slight issue. Will be going to 165/65 from 185/55 for more clearance, and a slight guard roll. Will maybe go to a 165 on the front as well, 175/60 in this photo. Also had some factory side skirts show up as well as a rear sump set up. Just need JZA70 engine mounts and then the engine can go in once i pick it up.

brocky41
ive been running a W55 behind a 1JZ for about 13 years now and its still going strong. you dont HAVE to put an R154 behind it straight away.  Agreed - you must have had a few "fuck that gearbox wont last five minutes" dicks throughout that time lol  Love this car - only just found the thread
cute wee gem
^^ Depends how you drive it. You can easily smash an R154 if you're hard on it too. Â I don't think sheepers does fully sick D1s and 5th gear burnouts in his Celica
thegreatestben
The only people I know blowing up gearboxes are drongos (and sheepers). My 7agte got along happily with a C52 that simon gave me for free.

beachlander
Bought Dylanns jzx90 for the engine. Greer (chees-) came rount to help me rip it out but we got lazy. Nearly out though. And had some jza70 engine mounts show up which means it will bolt straight in.
