camo_78 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 is all I have to say, have a soft spot for these Zephyrs Quote
cletus Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 good call on getting the rims reversed rather than spacers. does it go heaps better with the headers on? Quote
KKtrips Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Good work bro. I love Mk3's slammed and with deep dish wheels on them. Can't wait to see it rolling on them. Quote
yetchh Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Cheers fellas, can't wait either.. haven't had her going yet as I'm still trying to sort the linkage out for the twins, but I was talking to a couple of the zephyr guys and they reckon headers give about 15-20% better economy compared to the standard hockey stick, all I can say is they're severely choked up in factory form haha Quote
HighLUX Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 That factory exhaust manifold is horrible! Quote
KKtrips Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I vote no hubcaps - will look bossss without them. Quote
yetchh Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 Yeah, think I have to agree.. with shiney nutz 2 Quote
Nominal Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Why not try some little UJ's? http://www.mygear.co.nz/aluminum-universal-joint-connector-u-joint Quote
yetchh Posted February 16, 2014 Author Posted February 16, 2014 Yeah I was just today thinking about them, dunno what took me so long.. have got another option to try and if that fails I'm gonna try two small unis.. where would one find that pictured? *edit.. just saw the link.. Quote
KKtrips Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Man I reckon this thing is awesome - I have a soft spot for Mk3 Zephyrs. Especially boned out on those Coon wheels. Have you ditched the caps yet? LOL Also I hope you don't sell this but if you do then give me first option. I probably won't have money or room or a million other excuses not to buy it at the time but I do so very much dig it. Quote
igor Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 One of my earliest car related memories is riding in my grandfathers Mk3 Zodiac. I loved that car. So good to see an old Zed still looking sweet and being used. Keep up the good work. Quote
Steelies Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 yeah man, very cool car! i recall too many people inside ballin' through hanmer one year. also kk and i are probably pining on the same one from days gone by, slammed on black steels, full of bad attitudes and great ideas Quote
yetchh Posted January 8, 2016 Author Posted January 8, 2016 Yes, slammed.. that is on the cards, as for selling it.. I made a vow not to sell anything older than 36 years.. 1 Quote
j.e.d. Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Hey man, did you end up getting one of those iwata guns on TM? Quote
yetchh Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 Yeah bro fucken stoked with it, decided that as I could only find the gun by itself with no accesories for about 260 that it was a good deal with three tips and a cup. The only drawback is its side cup and not a top cup and can potentially get in the way.. but the pros outwiegh the cons, and my buddy also approved so that confirmed the purchase 1 Quote
j.e.d. Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Awesome man. It seems more appealing than getting one in from the states & as you say for the price & that it comes with 3 different tips makes it a winner. Cheers for the feedback mate. BTW Zed car is looking awesome. When do you reckon you'll be back onto the Landau? Read that thread the other day & it looked like a shit tonne of work done & yet to do but you were getting there.. love those coupes Quote
yetchh Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 Thanks bro, Landau's last on the list of cars so theoretically 10 years away haha.. 1 Quote
RUNAMUCK Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Old mate makes a nice radiator aye! Let's hope he never realises how much too cheap he works! 1 Quote
