Im not tring to be offencive but thats the way I see it ae. But im open to all comments good or bad. I've got the boso gear knob on it atm because im saving up for a manual gearbox and I just could. completely agree, but in saying that i hate it when people do half arse attempts at bosozoku and it ends up looking like ballsack, you really shouldn't call it boso unless you know what boso is, especially when all they're doing is following the in trends which die off after a few years and look like shit, not saying this is you, but sure looks like it this is boso this is shakotan this is stickerbombing this is showcar/bass/dubstep/skillexfag they do not go together. IMO you're better off keeping things stock instead of doing a half-assed job. Just pop some small diameter wheels on it and slam it, can't go wrong. I don't know why everyone is telling me to do my own thing, because when I end up doing what I want to do everyone is just hating me for it. My brother got given it by an elderly couple that had it for a long time. It all started when he was mowing their lawns, They had him do it for about 1 and a half each weekend for about 3 weekends. They ended up giving him $100, And he sayed I reply to that, "Shot." The elderly man then passed away (R.I.P.) and she ended up going in to the local resting home. She got really sick and we went to visit her, she then told Me, theo (My older brother) and my dad to go to her house and take the old girl to our home. He drove it to polytech for the whole year and in that time it blowe a Front crank seal in the 1G-EU, he then gave it to me because it needed the whole boot surrounding replaceing due to rust but mainly because he went and bought a MK 4 supra (God that thing is sick). I am going to follow a certain sandwich technique whereby I will offer you something positive, something to work on, followed by something positive. GX61 is a wicked base to start from, there are some fine examples lurking here, check out ryanfels build thread for inspiration/ideas (/put a 2jz no shit in it) I shed a tear for your dash now that you have screwed those guages in, suggest trying to find a good dash to put in for when you get bored of them (also suggest making any soundz installation removable so you can take it out for track days etc which you will eventually also want to attend no doubt) Sweet wheels can be found on Yahoo japan, there is a chap by the name of Ewan from hayatonka.com who is a kiwi in japan who can place bids on your behalf, he takes a cut and then ships them over...they will cost you an arm and a leg whether in NZ or Jap though, a cheaper option for some wide wheels would be some diamond racing type wheels - a set can be picked up for less than 1k I believe. If you are patient, and are happy to let a few sets go as the bidding gets too high, then you can find a nice set of big rims on yahoo for less than that. last thing we need is another car rolling around on barf-spec diamond racing rims!
