DavidTheCreator
production salon and a scooter = win then save up for a towcar but i vote e30 coupe, you will get bored shitless in the skyline, especially when you see heaps of other ones every day

Simon
I found the solution... Any BMW Standard 2jzgte W58 Hilux diff You will do skids for 10 years and replace oil, tyres and clutches. Oh, and shells.

I mean if your going to break something its probably the gearbox/diff - not the motor providing you maintain it and don't overheat it. Id really be thinking get engine+gearbox from a manual 535i and jam that into the e30. I would imagine between that and the stronger diff from the 6cyl models that sparkle mentioned you would not have any undue issues + plenty of torks to make clouds

westy
^Z3. But same same internals so no point. You wont break a medium case E30 diff unless you do single spinners for 1/2 hour.

Toot Toot Timmy
TBH unless its a 325i or better with a LSD they do shit skids. The M325i is a loose unit and will try and kill you ASAP and bar the M3 the only model that is is really that much fun.
