RUNAMUCK
Shit, this thing is going to be scary fast.I may have said before, that I used to hate avengers. But with the passage of time, they have grown on me, and get less ugly every day. They have so much more character than 99% of all the fucking ugly modern cars that hurt my eyes on today's roads. Plus I'm allergic to British automotive engineering. But you're doing away with the parts that leak oil, so it's flying the flag of WIN in my books.

Thanks, yup it will be good to get rid of the leaky old Chrysler engine. I hope to bring it down to the South Island for MoPars in the south in 2014, this year it is in Ashburton and I will be bringing the '75 Avenger again so make sure you pop in and say hi. Not sure where it will be in 2014 but hopefully it will be far enough south that we can catch up. http://mitchellracextreme.typepad.com/.a/6a00e553cbcbf988340133f239ad39970b-320wi It think it looks better with it's front spoiler on, and I think it looked better in the cardboard mock up stage, probably a bit over the top for the Avenger, I want to see if I can work it in with the lines over the back wheels of the Avenger. Here are some other pics of that RX3 http://mitchellracextreme.typepad.com/.a/6a00e553cbcbf988340147e3161320970b-pi http://mitchellracextreme.typepad.com/.a/6a00e553cbcbf988340133f1fa1312970b-pi
Brock-Lee
Holy shit this thing is going to be awesome! Im gonna be honest, after reading the first post I had my doubts and so have ignored this thread till now. Fuck me dead you've done soooo right and this thing is going to be such a dope car. Please make this thing sit super slammed. Continue doing things right.
Avenga
Thanks. Yeah it has come a long way from the original idea of just dropping a Rover V8 in it. It should be a properly awesome car when I am done.
kiwi808
This style Rx-3 flare kit looks awesome. Stick a JAF badge on the front for the win.
BDA780
Those flare on the Mitchell RX3 are sweet but I don't think they'll match you car. RX3's have more dynamic curves, dare I say it like MK1 to MK2 Escorts. Yours being more MK2 like. Possibly shapely flares like this could work: These have always appealed to me but may be to subtle You may wanna follow the nice swage line along the rear 1/4. Keep up the sweet work. kiwi808
These flares are awesome. Your Panther already has sick flares so you have to go sicker (if that is a word).
Avenga
You may wanna follow the nice swage line along the rear 1/4. Keep up the sweet work. Yeah I like the ones in the first photo, maybe not as curvy, I really want it to match that swage line along the rear 1/4 because that is what gives the Avenger it's look. These flares are awesome. Your Panther already has sick flares so you have to go sicker (if that is a word). They are cool but as you said, I already have sick bolt on flares on the panther, so with this one I want to go for a different look with the box flares vs the bolt on ones. This one will be sicker but a wide body, box flare sort of sicker. I want to give it the super touring car look, like the ones Karl has been posting or like a wide body DTM race car. Hachi-ichi
Wonder where the shifter is gonna sit in the car, big gearbox vs little car.
Avenga
That was my first thought also once I saw how big the engine and gearbox is combined. I will probably have to do some sort of remote shifter. I would love to have it all exposed like the Pagani Huayra
cletus
so you blew the engine? how did that happen?
