plasticdash
run window washers to engine/rear wheels and fill said window washer bottle up with diesel. also some sort of lock/lsd rear for the 2 wheel action.
Hemi
take thermostat out if it just for burnouts and isnt one of those bi level deals . bleach on the wheels makes it smoke real good too although thatd sounds so fucking yuck i would diesel and old oil mix id use heartly also if yur ute had a mechanical fan id use that over a electric , electric = good for normal day driving were minimal flow is needed , mechanical = suck your face off etc , lose horsepoer gain ounces of cooling
Brock-Lee
^agree with mech fan for skids. you will be stationary but pulling like a million revs so that slut will be cranking. lockers>lsd for skids. dont need squirters and alot of comps tell you to fuck off if ya got that stz. and just blank off rear brakes. you pretty much got it sussed

danger
This is my good b1600 so not gonna butcher it but may be tempted for side pipes. line lockers in decided to paint engine bay before putting the 2L in. Anyone know any tricks for mazda MA (rwd 626) motors?
Mr.Mk1
Me old flatmate had one on his 62 coupe'. Had a cam done by previous owner, went hard. Felt like secondaries openin on a tang.
Jase
shouldn't have trouble being a two litre , massive tires ie 4wd radials to get your tirespeed up for maximum smoke, 4.8 diff in a b16 works well with this, sheer noise also helps if you have to impress a crowd or judges and run it just on valve bounce for the whole skid, static burnouts suck so get it swinging round, pay to put a sway bar in the back as the b16's will cock a leg pretty quickly and you will lose momentum
OSM Garage
AMEN to the locker. The locked diff is MY BEST FRIEND!!! Are B**** leaf sprung? Would that make it abit tricky?

danger
Not for a comp or anything. just for fun/ painting driveway/ my 21st. My motor has a larger cam double valve springs bit of head work and full rebuild 20000kms ago. standard carb I'm not sure how to convert to mech secondaries. l1ttle_d3vil
take thermostat out if it just for burnouts probably more likely to overheat then though because the water will be going around too fast without "soaking" the heat in, end up with hot spots in the engine. sounds like it doesn't really matter though
MACKAZ
Obligitory locked diff please. This is lol. We built a B1600 with a 4.1 and 4 spd in it. Mazda diff was too lower ratio, so biffed in coon diff. Tyres last for years/minutes cos of no weight on rear wheels.
petemk1
Mate all you need is the 2L and a line lock and you'll be sweet. My mate got a b1600 put a 2L in got the head planed and cam ground he can hook 3rd quite happily.
petemk1
Oh yeah and has to be locked diff
spanfarmer
Locked diff, and if possible, an alloy radiator. I had a three core on in the VK and it would boil after about a minute, that's with both a mechanical and electric fan, since i put the big alloy one in it hasnt boiled once. Also, make sure your driveway has a gate. It may be private property, but if the police decide that it's publically accessable they may be able to arrest you for it, impound your car, cell's, court all of that. Same goes for mall parking lot's, shared driveway's ect.
