I did not unfortunately KY, I didn't go to take photos, just to hang out and watch some drifting. Plus, it was wet for a 1/4 of the time I was there so didn't much feel like photo'ing. Was pretty much only hanging around to see this + NA + KE. Everything else, as KPR mentioned on his blog, were typical Nissans. I did get a photo from my MJU2 of Todd in the middle of the massive puddle in his wagon though haha.

I saw the Corolla out at Hampton yesterday and it was looking good man! I kept hanging out for Luke's MX5 to catch up to see NA x AE drifting but I think it only happened once. Keep on keeping on, the car looks/sounds great.

I'm failing to see the wrongness of that car? One could argue the front lip being pretty big assed and it needs factory rear spoiler... but still? Unsure if they are fake 03s or what at that angle and distance but I thought it wasn't bad considering the amount of nasty 11s out there?

FUCK those are some leafs man here's some conversation topics for such a thread titled "leaf spring tech" Has anyone here had any experience with a coilover/coil spring setup in a originally leafsprung car, using a single leaf as lateral stability? In stead of using a panard rod/watts etc and a 4 link is what I mean. I have seen quite a few b110s/b310s in japan running a coilover shock and spring to the shock mount on the u-bolt plate under the leaf with no added arms. Logic would tell me that the lateral stability of the factory leafs where never that great and adding atleast a panard/watts etc would help greatly. However I am interested in hearing others experience with the setup. converse...

Snells springs guy talked me out of reversed eyed leafs for reason dave said/i told dave. Argued in favour of reverse arch and gave examples of factory cars with reverse arched leafs. If you think of them as a flat piece of spring steal, it shouldn't matter what way they arch. Although he did mention different toe characteristics under compression due to the shackles moving inwards rather that outwards. He noted it shouldn't be any problem however. My springs sit with a reversed arch with load on them and flat when not loaded. Will be stiffening further and reverse arching them more for lower in future. I have always wanted a very long, flat panard rod because the factory leaf setup feels like it walks around a lot. Even when it didn't have blocks (which suck too).

If its just a spacer bolt on then its 20mm. Or atleast that's what I get from the standards

think max allowable bolt on hub spacers is 20mm, then need cert for them

Anyone know someone in Auckland area who would be keen to baffle my factory 1200 fuel tank and fit a factory in tank pump? Haven't had any real experience with fuel tanks and don't want to blow myself up. Thought about making one, still may but would be easier if I could just get this one modified, it fits pretty tight in there already. Chris
