thegreatestben
Are you doing two cars or is the engine coming out of blue into the orange? Is that blue one certed for a 4agze with wide guards? I remember first seeing that car when I was ~16 haha
Steelies
haha yep thats the car, bought bluey from seedy al for parts. super mega bog flares and 'smoothed' rear.. it was last spotted on the top of the crush pile at pickapart by a previous owner haha

Steelies
anyone have any suggestions for rear shocks? got choppies and it seems the shock will have to be mega short to keep them captive etc.. i've measured and will go a-huntin but if anyone can remember what they've used in the past (shock/spring combo) can ya let me know? Toucan
I measured what length shocks I needed to keep my cut springs captive and then went to a suspension shop an the guy prescribed me with holden ute rear shocks, possibly HZ? Made by KYB. Will of course depend on the cut height of your spring, so I am of no help
Truenotch
What he said. Are KP shocks eyelets/bushes on each end or do they have a thread at the top? There are quite a few options for rear shocks, but it's a lot easier if you have a buddy at a suspension shop.
Snoozin
Thread top, eye bottom. Take measurement you want at it's absolute full droop, then go and visit a mate in the trade with a KYB/Koni/whatever shock book and find something with the same mounting points that measures up. Toucan
Looks good except perhaps the rear tyres have too much tread? Interesting to see how your diff lasts, lots of people break them, but I've treated mine quite nicely and it has held up for over a year

UTERUS
For the rear try and find some front dampers from a LN130 landcruiser, i have gabriel gas ones in the rear of my van and they are short enough to keep my 180mm springs well captive.
