My name is Russell
iv got the second one in my escort. is double pass, 3 core, cross flow. all good features. both inlet and exit on drivers side tanks.also core is exacty the same width as a 450x300 intercooler. i presume thats the size you are running? although i still need a very very good electric fan to cope in city traffic. Got one of these ones http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 089854.htm Is cross flow radiator when the inlet and outlet are on the same side? / whats better as i'm tossing up if to get botton outlet changed to pass side or just running a pipe along the front as will have a tad more space now. Na iv got some retarded custom size IC thats 470 x 360 x 60 and had to chop allot out to get it in
eke_zetec_RWD
nah cross flow is when the tanks are on the sides not the top. double pass is when its crossflow and the tank with the outlets has a divider plate in the center forcing the water to cross the radiator then drop and cross it again to the outet. moving the inlet for your radiator will be easy, take to a sheet metal place. Gaz
Lol just sent you an email but everything was basically said in here bout radiators. Injectors.. If you put larger ones in at the mo then it will surge on idle and use lots of gas, poss wash the bores if done for long enough. Also you will obviously need a retune which is a good idea anyways since youve got diff dump pipe, turbo, cooler, intake, exhaust etc etc to when it was tuned last. Umm that is all. My name is Russell
You reckon these will work? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =294269383 the bottoms of them seem to be a little shorter than mine? have not checked that they are low Impedance yet. Gaz
Id prob go for some that have been flow tested on TM. Will cost ya an extra $50 or so but at least ya know they not fucked.. Plus it would pay to spend the $50 for a flow test anyways so as to know one aint going to fuck out on dyno. Maybe 550cc too incase you decide to change turbo a lil later down the track and need a little more juice. I beleieve resistance can be changed by addidng resitors. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 748861.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 521478.htm Gaz
