With what you've taken out and the different things you're putting in, it'll probably still only be nearing the 1000kg mark, as Gaz said, that'll be curb weight too, I would imagine. That is with lots of alloy bits that were originaly iron/stell (brakes, bellhousing, bummer irons, radiator etc.) acrylic glazing, no interior and fibreglass doors, bonnet, boot and bumpers. My name is Russell Posted March 20, 2010 Share Posted March 20, 2010 Alloy welding, what sort of gaps can you weld across? cut these stupid reassessed bonnet stays thinking there were steel and that i would be able to just weld them up myself cut and thought thats odd not many sparks closer inspection alloy dow! The cuts bellow should an Engineer be able to bridge that gap? chopped hole on bonnet so have to stick with them.
