SHGWAG
Why not just run a pre mix fuel? Or would this not work? My car originally had oil squirters that squirted oil into the chamber to lubricate the seals. Now I just run pre mix in the fuel. Same end, different means. SHGWAG
OT, but is there anywhere near Hamilton that sells E85?
e30-323ti
Thanks, So, do I need to cert the extra fuel system before going for a WOF? I'm thinking yes.... Or should I just try get a WOF and see what they say? I would say so, you'd also need to read up i nthe hobby car manual re: Tank fabrication. Incidently this is the 'free - sample' section available on the hod rod ass'n website at the moment. Also check Schedule A, as from Jan 2015 any non-OEM or FIA need to have a bunch of certification/manufacturer details shown, and must be foam filled. Bit of a side Q' is E85 allowed as a fuel for use on public roads? Don't see it at the pump anywhere (in wgtn) and would presume it has no 'road tax' etc... applied at the point of sale. No different to 'avgas / 100+ / C16' which you are not allowed to use on the road.

So if you are in Wellington, you're probably not getting it from the pump, so is the source 'legit'..... If you're getting it 'by the barrell' for a track only car say, why would you want to be paying all the road tax, I would think it is sold in that manner with a disclaimer about 'not for use on public roads' Pedantic, yes, and the police often are (and often they don't have a clue)
SHGWAG
what do you need to do to roll e85? A fuckload if wikipedia is to be believed. It's stoich ad somewhere arount 9.8:1, meaning you need bigger injectors etc.
Rookie
Yea that^ needs 30-40% more fuel. It is about the same price of 98 so if you are paying more than that you are getting ripped. Also is now available at Puke Gull.... mean.

CaMpylobacter
would the same result be had by smashing in 34% more 98 under load as well(for boosted stz at least)? tune it like you're in sweden. rich is safe.
Brock-Lee
If you can cram in 30-40% more air then sweet. Otherwise you will just make yo bores all sparkly and clean/blow your oil up like lee.

By that do you mean: A. Running a richer AFR? Or B. Keeping the same AFR but increasing boost pressure? B would net results (increase in horsepower) A probably wouldn't, as all 4ages run rich and make fuck all power. EDIT: Yeah, what he^^ said
