87creepin Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 Impressive that you got the flat deck off with 3 people. Those things are heavy af Quote

Brimmy Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 Such a tidy king cab. Looks awesome with the tray on too - good score finding one of them. Quote
xsspeed Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 Whats the welding you guys were doing to front of tray? Just repairs or something more drastic (shortening?) Quote

So got a new bottom rail and front panel made up and that's what got welded in 1 1 Quote

Popular Post Beaver Posted March 3, 2024 Author Popular Post Posted March 3, 2024 Chuffed how it came out. It's not a show car paint job by any means but it's what I wanted. Still has some dents and dings as I wasn't paying for a full panel job haha. Needs lowering ASAP, have a spare set of leaves I need to do reset. 14 1 Quote
Popular Post Beaver Posted March 4, 2024 Author Popular Post Posted March 4, 2024 Springs off to the shop. Can't scratch the new paint just yet.. 10 1 Quote
Popular Post Beaver Posted March 7, 2024 Author Popular Post Posted March 7, 2024 Reset springs in. It's not actually low but it sites level now now and looks a lot better. New shocks are on the list, these don't have any shock left in them. 13 Quote
kp60nick Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 I have a part number somewhere for some short shocks that suits these things if you're interested. Quote
Beaver Posted March 20, 2024 Author Posted March 20, 2024 Lowered the front another 20mm or so, shitty pic sorry Added some foam matting to the tray 8 Quote
Beaver Posted March 20, 2024 Author Posted March 20, 2024 And new shocks all around. 4x4 d21 up front (shorter than the 2wd ones) and Nissan Quest rear shocks in the back which are shorter than the factory ones as well. All bolted straight in and feels as good as a 35 year old truck on bumpstop should feel like ...haha. Front is touching bumps, rear not quite. So need to have a play there. 9 Quote
