Popular Post Beaver Posted May 9, 2020 Author Popular Post Posted May 9, 2020 So little bit of lock down tidy up, painted the grill and bumoer black and used some plastic refurb stuff on the lower panel. Came up a treat and looks waaaay tidier. Black ties in nicely with the black tray as well. Also bought some wheels (15s), nothing cray cray but are tidy/refurbed and price was right. Hopefully pick them up next week after level 2 11 2 Quote

Popular Post Beaver Posted August 23, 2020 Author Popular Post Posted August 23, 2020 Picked up a nudge bar for @GuyWithAviators but they looked pants on his Ute (flat front) so tried them on mine and was sold. Stole some spottlights of @Geophy to see what they looked like, and I like how it looks so will keep eyes peeled for some of my own. Also found some commercial friends 16 Quote
Popular Post Beaver Posted September 4, 2021 Author Popular Post Posted September 4, 2021 Currently sorting out rear brake parts for wof, and then the stars aligned and managed to find one of these! Pretty excited. It's got a bit of cancer and needs a good tidy up and paint obviously but solid base and worth the effort. 21 3 Quote
Popular Post Beaver Posted September 4, 2021 Author Popular Post Posted September 4, 2021 Goals. Found a canopy but it had already been dibsed so hoping sale falls through. 16 Quote
kyteler Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 Fuuuuuck yeah, well side. My man. That’s what’s up. King cab wellside is ultimate 3 1 Quote
kyteler Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 @Geophy should buy my SE double cab so you could have the trifecta of D21 single, king, double up there. 1 Quote
Beaver Posted September 5, 2021 Author Posted September 5, 2021 Nah. Double cabs are dumb. We all know none of us have friends, so why waste valuable tray space 7 Quote
Popular Post Beaver Posted September 5, 2021 Author Popular Post Posted September 5, 2021 Stripped the wellside down today and started hitting the deck with the wire wheel to see what horrors were hidden. Cancer has set in along the front seam, some holes in the front corners of the deck, and another small hole near the back, but other than that it's just a bit scabby. The outside is solid, and tailgate had a few dents and bog but overall not too bad. Have been chipping off oodles and oodles of paint (must have been a painters ute at some point). Will get the rust sorted and then hit the inside of the deck with bedliner. Will clean and underseal and underside and wheel wells, and then get the outside painted to match the the body. 13 Quote

Beaver Posted September 19, 2021 Author Posted September 19, 2021 No pics because brakes. New shoes, drums, and cylinders installed. Thanks to friendly part man @GuyWithAviators 5 1 Quote
Popular Post Beaver Posted August 29, 2022 Author Popular Post Posted August 29, 2022 This is still going strong. Broke a set of points on it while being a dirtbag in the wet which was lol. Have also been chasing an intermittent misfire/stumble, so it's ended up with pretty much all new ignition bits other (points, cap, rotor, coil, leads). Also pulled the carb off for inspection and clean. Hasn't fixed it, but hasn't made it worse either so I'll just keep on keeping on. Did a service today, next one is the big 300,000km! Oh, and some decent headlight bulbs have made night driving much more pleasurable/bearable. Have some assorted load hauling pics 12 Quote
