Summer is nearly here which means more daylight hours so not long till the BBQ's, fush'n'chups, park ups at the beach and all that sort of fun. In the mean time we need a few more places to descend upon on these cold dark nights. The long and short of it is that unless we make use of a supermarket carpark (or similar) then the meets are more of a sit down and have a beer and a feed and less standing around talking smack (that said, there is still a shit load of smack being talked). I personally have no issue with this. A few ideas floating around are Uncle Mikes BBQ in Petone (http://www.unclemikesbbq.co.nz/), the Strathmore Local (http://www.nzlltd.co.nz/uploads/file/strathmore%202011%20DINNER%20A4.pdf), Gasworks (http://www.thegasworks.co.nz/). Roger and I would like to hear from you guys and some suggestions. Keep in mind this is just the next month or two while it is still dark at 7pm.
