With the oil pressure thing. 
 

my guess is not with the Ryco z9 filter used them plenty as common yankie v8 filter and definitely haven’t had that when priming oil pressure before starting. As was done before a start on a fresh motor.

not something like running the pickup too high or not enough oil to maintain that pressure? 

could also be something like pump spring has lost its tension as guessing not a new one?

im also not sure if I would want to run a new motor knowing that could be a issue even worse if it gets lower after longer periods of engine running

I feel like this needs an added element of danger to it, so gantry injection would be quite fitting.

the 5m stuff, not so much. they made a turbo kit for a 5M which there is a tiny bit more info about, but there is nothing i could find on the interwebs about the 5M-GX except a couple of photos.

what's left is make some sort of ITB setup for this thing and a set of extractors. the extractors will be fairly easy but the ITBs could turn in to a bit of a nightmare. there is very little room around number 6 and the firewall has a hump in it that means i cant come out of number 6 in a straight line.

time will tell. 

 

IIRC they had some stroker kits to whip them out to 2.9 or 3.1L depending on pistons, which you've done anyway with the 7M cranky.
