yetchh
Got most of the decking done on Sat.. and shifted the step/guard rail location Rain fucked me a bit on Sunday but once it cleared, I finished picture framing the deck.. realised I need to lift the steps up 33mm higher as the top step is 213mm instead of 180 (forgot about the decking) If the weather plays ball this weekend I'll get it done and hopefully move onto the facings/sills..

Popular Post yetchh
So, it's been a while, done lots of things that I never took pictures of since pb was out and coincidentally so was my brain.. but I'll continue where I left off. After getting code we also scraped in getting a mortgage thanks to the valuation that put us 20k over, was big relief and I could finally relax somewhat.. But here's some getting to that point.. Ended up having to extend the steps out further after changing my mind about the width of the steps.. Here's a shot half way through installing the patio steps, Finished Started with the mac around the back door, came up pretty good, So I carried on, had to cover the joins between the shadowclad for code also, had to rout weather grooves on the underside of every board, didn't get a pic.. Night shot finished.. Had to bracket up the rear deck for code, Here's a great partial shot of it finished, As you can see I missed out on taking a lot of piccies.. still, I got some.
kiwi808
No nail straps required from joists around boundary joist? Looking good mate. Yellow tools are best.

Yeah, got sick of the nicad batteries failing after two years and bought three xrp nano drills second hand, two of the batteries are from 2008 and still going strong..
