kyteler
Yeah, sorry I didn't hang around, decided to put the diff back together in the Gloria and forgot completely. Good work Roger Dodger though, good to see you're on top of it/get something 70's and Japanese and you'll be fine.

Beaver
Got new bits yet? repco/supercheap should have the bits/order them in In other news, the rotor on my hunter split and the dizzy shaft was just spinning inside it, so I used a rubber band to keep the split shut and it got me home.

M Night Shamalayan
Pap stock list says its a wag too. I wonder if its an iron head motor. Could be worth tucking away a spare.
Dell'orto
It is a wagon, but I think it was alloy, didn't look too closely.

AllTorque
What a bargain. Shout out when you get those ignition bits if you need a lesson on setting up points, etc.
Goat
Also, knowing Rog, by rotor, he would have definately meant 12a bridgeport. What a GC. Also, fingers crossed new ignition bits sort it, so you can cut some laps. Good shit!
Threeonthetree
Mayte, I just bought the same Lucas 25D bits off the same guy to fit to my friends' Morris Minor. Hoping the quality is good enough to get it running. Probably still better than the OG ones. As for tyres, STA/Segedins in Auckland do really cheap brand new whitewalls. They do a 165/65R13 for $70. M Night Shamalayan
yeah i do wonder about the quality of a set of parts that cost me a third of what the repco equivalent wouldve c. Don't know til ya try though. I've considered white walls, but tbh, im just a lazy piece of shit, so i doubt i'd keep them clean enough to make them not stain or whatever. and the car isnt cool enough to pull it off maybe? haha

M Night Shamalayan
Theres a few kits online to upgrade from points to electronic distributor. (like this: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/austin-rover/auction-1176137129.htm) Anyone know the guff on them?
Beaver
I used a set like that on the 120y. Easy to install and worked a treat (not that there was anything wrong with the points, but I can see the benifits)
tortron
I have the electronic distributor from accuspark, who makes those or something identical Im happy with it. You are better off getting the whole thing I think, so there is no wear.
