Rookie
It is quite big, I haven't had a shed this size before, but TBH I can see it filling up pretty quick.
xsspeed
It'll be full with lean-to's and shit under tarps outside in no time lol I am interested re assembly of kitset yourself - is errthing pretty straight forward? holes predrilled and all fasteners provided/meccano? And when you were looking at different kitsets, was wooden structure an option? Reason I ask is one thing I have noticed going from wooden garage to metal workshop is its a lot harder to make use of vertical space - ie, need to buy pallet rack and tall shelving, rather than whack a few nails in and she'll be right
Rookie
Ok, I have to be honest; It hasn't been as easy as I had hoped, and I/ we have had to redo a few things because of assumptions, poor instructions or what ever, but it hasn't been hard. The instructions are a joke though, but in saying that they dude at head office actually knows what he is talking about and will put you right if you ring and ask " WTF does this do?". The bits which are bolted together are mostly predrilled, but some bits aren't ie the door jams/brace frame header. The rest is all held together with tek screws, so that is pretty easy. Because I wanted 3.5m frame height and 8m clear span then basically no, timber wasn't an option, I was a little biased though as I am much more of a metal person than a timber person. As for shelving there is no reason why you can't just tek screw shelves etc in place?
Rookie
I should probably clear up that I didn't want a trussed roof so I could have more space on the mez, as you can have 8m clear span with timber.
bigfoot
Stuff we make at work (LVL) can do huge spans/the framing for the factory is made out of it
