So work after the holidays has finally started up again.

70 and I dug some holes...

And then we put some of the plastic down and put the mesh where it needs to go.

And in typical me fashion we ran out of plastic so that is as far as we got.

Better to over kill it, sux when your box blows out.

Did you a sketch.

Can have a second peg closer too and then you use that to set your heights on final nail down after getting it square

Get the foundations correct otherwise it will just be a pain in the bum all the way up to the final roof flashing.

Is that a pro tip? I legitimately have no idea what I am doing.

After a quick look at your photos yes, yes that is a pro tip.

Unsure on the ideal spacing of your pegs but needs more than one every 3000 or whatever it is in the photo showing the foundation piles.

The peg spacing is 1m ( you can kinda see it in this post), and the boxing is all pretty gravy in relation to the string lines which are perfectly square and true. It is 150mm high though so I think in strategic locations I will add some reinforing for sure.

Cheers for the diagram Russel, shit looks cash.

And Pete, I am going to a wedding this weekend so unfortunately not.

I would put another peg in between all your existing pegs, and have a 45 degree bracing peg right beside those, and screwed into the vertical pegs. Reinforce all  the joins in your boxing as well with a cleat screwed across the back of each join. Even though your boxing isn't very high there's still a huge weight of concrete trying to bow your boxing out so it must be well braced.

Haha no not yet, that is the problem with 11ty billion projects is that you only have so much time. I got all the steel in place and it has had the green light from the council to pour the pad, so I am just trying to organise a concrete placer at the moment.
