The cops were being alarmist and as you said probably expected us to be a bunch of idiots. Given that we've never had a complaint and the length of time we've been meeting there it doesn't seem worth the risk of them telling us to piss off. Will assess the situation by next month. 10speed, I find it hard consider moving from the OG location However. If modern cars move if it gets full and people get creative enough then we shouldn't have to much of a problem. Threeonthetree Posted January 24, 2013 Share Posted January 24, 2013 Who had the RX-7? That was Ronnie. We came with the RX7, 180B, 260Z and B310. Really enjoyed the meet. Cops pinned us as we were leaving. I was the last car to get out cleanly. My mate stopped the 260Z in the middle of the road as the police had blocked him. He realised he was blocking traffic, so crept fowards slowly to try and park on the side of the road. Police car blasted its horn siren thing. So he put it in reverse and inched backwards, trying to get off the road (another car was coming around the corner at this stage) Police car blasted that siren thing again. So he stayed put. An officer got out, leaned through the window, removed the keys from the ignition and plonked them on the windscreen. Thought that was a bit heavy handed.
