Dell'orto
Assuming it hasn't broken two seals on both rotors of course...who knows poorly this engine was assembled, yesterday was the first time since its been rebuilt that its actually driven properly! PPRE also said it was knocking when they had it on the dyno, it could have damaged it then. Yup factory cat, was just driving at the time. The way it just died didn't feel like an engine giving up either, I'm hoping once I take the UIM off I'll find the injector plugs have come undone or something
SHGWAG
Yea, it must be something simple, engines only cut out when starved from fuel &/or spark. Hit a bump and the plug fall out of the ignitor maybe?
Dell'orto
Nah ignitor pack was still plugged in...will dig further into it tonight, and just hope that it isn't dead

Snoozin
K24A with a K20A Type R head and some kind of boost thing attached would make for a great conversion.

Dell'orto
Fuck knows tbh. Can't afford to do anything for a while yet! Took me forever to save up to buy the thing Maybe just cut my losses and sell it as is, minus PFC.
Evan
That sucks man, dropping both rotors is a solid effort.
Dell'orto
Nah rear is ok, low but it is a used housing. Front is proper fucked though, and that was the new one Ideally cranking RPM should be 250+, which would lift that rear one well into the 90s. Don't think the front would come up much more though! Evan
oh true, why did I read that as 009 087 009 for the rear, my bad. either way it sucks.
