Hachi-ichi
Ha. So Just figured out after selling my spare X8 Cross member that Diesel (LX80) Manual Cross members do vary slightly from the rest of the chassis's Manual Cross members (SX80, GX81 etc) So refunded buyer and have it back, It will fit with a bit of drilling the holes further forward. If anyone is considering 5-M/T for their X8, $30.00 and it's yours. lol.

thegreatestben
In my lx76 the engine sits a lot further out from the firewall than a g or m series sits. I can easily see and reach the slave cylinder from the engine bay. If I were to change engine I'd want to set it back 50-75mm and have to go for a different shifter position. I can understand why its different.
Hachi-ichi
So now it has stopped throwing the CEL and decided the speedo shouldn't work. Worked for a day on the first drive and has now ceased to work. Only change we made to it, is that it now goes across the top of the gearbox to get to the port on the drivers side. I'll unscrew it to see if it has misaligned itself or needs oil. Being mechanical, I am pretty sure it was full of oil before it was unscrewed. Any Ideas? Im taking it that it has just snapped somewhere. But may be something deeper than that. Will have to ring Clint and cancel cert ha.
Hachi-ichi
Decent update today. Photos too. Unscrewed Speedo, hooked drill up. Speedo went fine. pulled out dash (didn't break shit) and it all went smoothly. Consensus is that its the gear box speed sensor. I have ordered a new one. only 58 bucs so thats all good. Also. Baiza happened. They look sweeeeet.

Hachi-ichi
Knowing you have a set of Carrozzeria TS-X66-II 120W 4 way speakers at home waiting for you and not being at home... is torture. Pics to follow
Hachi-ichi
So TS-X66-II happened. Wired one in, daylight ran out so I cbf the other. as for the Illuminators, they are externally powered. So I am thinking of wiring them into their own 12V input plugs with switches, that way i can plug them into my cig lighter multi point. If anyone has any better ideas on that, lol at me
4AG_Addict
Why not just wire them to the switched 12V for the tail lights so they come on whenever your lights are on?

Hachi-ichi
Wired the lights into the tails lights, they work well. As for the stop light, yeah it needs to go.
