  1. The year in the shed is almost up so best i drive this again, The 1G lord himself did me a solid favour today and fixed an oil leak Sold my 3 Piece Hayashi Techno Phantoms to another Riverside member, Spent an Auckland house deposit on replacement wheels. Hayashi's last pair of 10j, and one of the last few 9j pairs. Apparently once they sell out they wont make any more. Ever. So i got pretty lucky. anyway, pics. Might actually attempt cert next year.
  2. Got wof. Did Toyota fest. Put in shed for another year.
  3. Rear guards were always pretty toast on this, the chrome trim covered 95% of it. I destroyed that quickly and so was forced to fix them. Hammered them out best I could trying to retain the factory shape. Fixed up all the mess. Gave it an honest attempt. Pretty happy for a complete novice. Raised it a lil and went to Jap new year meet with Cheez And test fitted Mr Sagers 14x10 -38. Ez.
  4. Found and installed short diff and axles. Can now tuck a 14x9 -25 rim easy.
  5. Drove this for the first time in a year. Might drive it again next year.and Mr Van Pelt took a pic on old wheels at a raised height with a flash camera.
  6. Sent these to get built. Focus Racing 5 9jA / 9.5jA Pretty sure I'm going to have to shorten the diff to run these. Throttle are being spun. Got a Motec ECU. Got some 1nz coils so I can ditch the dizzy.
  7. yah so. Acquired Mizuno Works Steel headers. OBA 30 Made some ITB stuff with 20v throttles Set of Focus 5 Widened a pair of Techno Phantoms Plus other junk, more spares etc. Going to try have it road legal soon.
  8. Took this to OS Hamner meat's. 300km trip. BC Coilovers are amazing. Had them on full hard with 3 people and a fully loaded car and it was good! Need to raise motor as it had a few hits, 1 overfull gearbox dumped its excess onto exhaust while overtaking and made some smoke and it needs a longer diff as 3800rpm is not fun for 1.5hours each way. 9. Thanks! Its only done 2 short trips with the wide wheels on as it looks mental with them on in person and i dont want the attention/pink sticker. Soon i will cert it so it can become a garage lurker/sunday driver.
  10. Modifyed a gx71 Hardtop front lip to fit this. Cut, plastic welded then fiberglassed it back together. Its much Deeper then stock sedan lip plus looks 100 times better. Swapped front tyres to rear to stop rub. Now 175 60 8j / 165 65 9J //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/47514-ants-tc24-gx71/
