My name is Russell
It would be cool to have a specific tech section broken down in threads with info say on Escorts with sub catogories like Brake conversion Diff engine etc etc Then another sub section for universal stuff like Fuel pumps Diffs tramp bars brake lines etc etc and setup in someway that it can keep itself structured which i guess would be hard to do part/alot of work to setup correctly! and i guess we already have the tech section which i refer back to all the time. Gaz
Nah then it ends up gay like and too many threads. I hate, and dont use turbosport for that reason. Also. Your struts are 3l capri struts which means they have a bigger stub axle than normal Capri struts. Yours will be bigger than Escort etc. The ones under my house have normal sized wheel bearings and will work fine if you want to play with. lowlancer
So keen to see how the wheels look, and how 185s look
Gaz
Keen to see the 185's also. Might look funny having 185 50's and 205 50s on same width rim. The 185's will look way diff profile wise especially with a tad of stretch on the 8's. Gaz

thegreatestben
You're buying the wheels from cpa, get them to fit the tires too.
My name is Russell
You're buying the wheels from cpa, get them to fit the tires too. They said $80 to fit tyres! Seems rather expensive for a broke man about to have his wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow .
thegreatestben
Lols, tell them to fuck themselves in that case. Trying to think of someone I could recommend but I don't know anyone I'd feel comfortable considering wheels will be brand spankers and stretch. My name is Russell
Yeah stretch makes them difficult to fit ... will ask Aiden i think he knows a good place. Cheers doodle breath

Unclejake
The only good thing about stretch is that it is quieter than a blow off valve. wurd

My name is Russell
Smith ones or boy racer ones? Will OS diss own me if i go with smoked
kyteler
Smith, IMO. I think that from a by-passers point of view you want it as period as possible and only when someone pops the bonnet or hears you boost around, are they aware it's been repowered. Subtle period mods are the go. New gauges everywhere is one step away from a nasty Monster Tachometer on the dash.
lowlancer
I like the modern one tbh. Looks purposeful, not ricey, not that it matters.

QCADTA
coming along nicely. its not a concours car so put whatever gauge is gonna work reliable and is easy to read, which is most likely the new gauge. nice work on the triangles.
