Goat Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Mean. Finally some competition at trackdays. Bout time you started a project thread. Be cool slammed on some jdm alloys Quote
kyteler Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 What PCD are they? Would you be keen on some Advan Dish reyums? 13x6, would suit it hard, I reckon. Quote
shavenYak Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 What PCD are they? Would you be keen on some Advan Dish reyums? 13x6, would suit it hard, I reckon. they're 114.3mm 4 stud. Got any pics? There's not much room in the wheel arches, but I guess where there's a will etc.. Quote
kyteler Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Oh, sorry. They're 13x5.5 +15 offset. Look like this! Quote
CaMpylobacter Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 mean boe. we slammed some 14x8 tridents on one once. went over a bump and one of the wheels got stuck up in the rear guard. very messy. such meke cars. totally want one. we had millions as paddock cars back in the day. Quote
Guest ROLLA36 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 bottom pic looks good, suites those street fins? Quote
shavenYak Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Oh yup - that's the shit - will make some plywood fins/spoilers this weekend and paint whole car fluoro pink. So how much dollahs you want for the rims? should probably test fit something in that offset first to see how it goes - just a shame you're in the deep south and I'm in the shallow north.. Quote
Snoozin Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Those wheels of old man Southerns will look so so so so awesome on the Alto. Quote
Goat Posted December 9, 2007 Author Posted December 9, 2007 Those wheels of old man Southerns will look so so so so awesome on the Alto. Concur. Do it Quote
shavenYak Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I agree, they are pretty hawt. photochop with limited software while at work (ie: MsPaint) So I know very little about offsets etc when it comes to rims, +15 offset, is that a FWD offset? I've read somewhere that I should be looking for +30 to +45 offset for this car.. Quote
Snoozin Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 +15 is a rwd offset, might have some minor fitment issues... and can't stretch anything onto a 5.5" rim... nothing a set of flares wouldn't cure. Quote
CaMpylobacter Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 155s on these cars look massive, so you could get some stretch going on without it looking too tiny Quote
shavenYak Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Would it not be bad for the car to run RWD offset on it - stress on the wheel bearings/cv's etc? Quote
Snoozin Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Nah you'll be fine. It's only with real extreme offset that those kind of issues come into play anyway Quote
R100 Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 I used to have an Alto slammed on a set or 13x6 mags with 175-50-13 tyres. The tyre size is real unusual but come factory on the old rover minis. Looked real sweeet Quote
Guest sexychevette Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 with 175-50-13 tyres. The tyre size is real unusual but come factory on the old rover minis. Looked real sweeet can get that size from a few tyre makers. u should get some of those ultra crazy 155/50s or whater they are that u can get from GB. theyre so choice Quote
Toucan Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 The bottom 13's dont do anything for me, the 12's are better but surely you can hold out for something better still Quote
kyteler Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 You could just buy my Advan's boe. If you're keen PM me, I reckon they'd suit it hard. 1 Quote
Guest Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Yeh if Racing Dish is still up for grabs i say do it. Cleaned up on nice tyres would be SWEET. Other wheels do nothing for me. Quote
