Ke36 Posted September 8, 2007 Share Posted September 8, 2007 yea mate hoping with the hilux diff and some sticky 15 inch drag tyres/slicks i can dip into the 12s talked to the guys who are going to tune car instal link etc and they reckon 240kws isnt out of the question (im running bigger turbo, and more fuel than macabre) only problem is my gearbox will be long gone by that stage i think will probably ask for them to give me a safe 200kws wat did your car run saw some pics of it on the strip? mikuni Posted September 8, 2007 Share Posted September 8, 2007 On his first setup he was making 196kw at the wheels or something and he has redone it with a bigger turbo since then. Can't remember the specs though. I know he had quite abit of wheel spin with that time though. I reckon High 12's is certainly do able with the right setup on a lightly modded vr4 engine. lol, I was having afew "issues" at the track but managed a 15.2 @ 152. I've got and 1200 Ex too, and hope to be putting a sigma motor, front end etc in soon, Was hoping to put a sigma front sway bar in my mates 1600 Ex (hes NOT using the sigma x-member either) but you reckon it wont bolt up? Cant see what difference the x-member will make? (Cheers for the heads up tho) I'll have to sus it out...
