  3. Well its been a while... Just a quick update to say the Starmax is still alive, and to show I DO drive it (sometimes) Have had the wheel alignment sorted properly, which has made a huge difference and I have refitted all the interior bits (seats, steering wheel and gear knob) back to factory Need to think about putting on the market, for the only reason x4 cars (and a work vehicle) makes it hard to get any use of it But for now it lies in wait wrapped up in the shed, for the next sunny day Outside (and not just in the driveway) Nothing has changed here Back to factory (inside)
  4. Na man, It will/should come out one way easier than the other Just hit it!
  5. All good man, Yea have a close look at your 2nd pic You need to punch the pin out to realise the shifter rod (you'll need a punch smaller than the pin and knock it out) Let us know how you get on...
  6. Sorry I haven't read "all" this but, What engine are you going with? Just wants be careful when using the Starion box (may want to check/measure the bell housing bolt holes) Also what x-member/lower arms are you going use? Don't think Sigma sway bar "bolts up" to the 1600 stuff Good luck
  7. Mean as wagon bro! Love the steelies Reckon you should look into a SOHC engine build aye (cheap and easy, and keeps it oldschool) I'll be keeping an eye on this, good luck
  8. I'm sure this is done by now but, Ended up using a "mixture" of parts for the steering Sigma; x-member Sigma; drag link (main/centre rod) Starion; strut knuckles Ex; idler, pitman and ALL tie rods Think its best to "match" x-member and centre drag link good luck...
