  1. Rego Looks familiar on that. Does it have a Wellington History? Used to work with a guy that bought one as an ex-demo IIRC. Might be his.
  2. Sirius Dash 3x2 Eternia had a digital Dash IIRC correctly. The SE Sigma had the digital dash, but not the turbo engine. Perhaps the Jap spec Galant VR had both? Not sure.
  3. Quite possible. The factory seals are made for warranty periods and thats about it. mine was dead below about 3k, but post seals pulled like a train throughout the rev range.
  4. I feel for you. I have cam locking blocks and associated paraphernalia if you need such things. Doing the Vanos seals on my b28 woke it right up.
  5. ooh I love these! Perfect mix of Ferrari Daytona, and brit Fugly
  6. Fuck this is a bad ass build. Get a little excited everything there's an update.
  7. pohutukawa burns good overnight. so does swamp rata, but thats not that easy to get hold of! bluegum is good too as is a big log of well seasoned mac. Leave that shit out in the rain over winter and the following summer, then stash it before the autumn rains and it will burn nice and slow but plenty hot.
  8. M-Parallels. Style 5's are a distant third I reckon. Personal tastes and all that! Got a set of concave schnitzer type 3's on my e39, I think they'd look pretty good on an e34 too...
  9. Excellent wheel choice. IMO, there's only one other wheel that looks as good on an E34.
  10. BMW engines are plentiful, plenty of wreck worthy e36/e39's out there. biggest hurdle would be a manual box, they can be found for most of the straight sixes, but can cost nearly as much as the motor. e39 2.8 manual was in turners damaged auctions a while ago, would have been perfect!
  11. if its anything like my bmw of v8ness, then you will get 300 odd k around town, and 6/700odd on the open road. It was a wonderous thing, that car was cheaper than my subaru on the open road, and close to TWICE as expensive around town/in traffic.
  12. Fully digging this car even though its a rotor. Interior is perfect, good work!
  13. fucken love these. needs Primer w~ black guide coat or mattyb and super seedy crushed velvet interior.
  14. Vaccum cleaner & home fabricated cardboard attachment. worked on my 'rona when the sparkplug shattered.
  15. Nah, fuck. The insurance company is just trying it on. They know your an individual in a 20 odd year old car. They are making assumptions about your ability to step fight the fight. 1. The dude was not indicating. Assumptions or not, the dude turned into the path of a following vehicle without giving prior warning. Strike one. 2. Clearly, he turned IN to you. Had he started turning before you were along side him, You would have damage on the FRONT section of your car. You dont. This means he did not check his blindspot. Strike two. I have had a very similar accident and i did have to battle the insurance company. But n the end, they paid out and teh car was fixed at their cost. Everything he did, was wrong and was a direct contributor to the accident. Do diagrams (in visio if you can, remember - these people assume you are stupid) write a well written and detailed account of the event, and be assertive!
  16. Awesome boe. Absolutely awesome. Probably helps that i have a fetish for V8 beemers haha.
  17. Fuckin bangin' makes me want one.
  18. fuck, choice boe. Fintails are mean as, and it looks real clean!
  19. Yuh, guess its like saying i'm putting an XR6 Turbo motor in a VB dunnydore. Which i'm not, cos there's much better cars to do it to.
  20. Fuck. UJ, you are a bloody legend. Top Job!
