BlownCorona
that $1200 one actually looks to be just a bosch throttle with a (albiet very nice) lever adapter fitted.

BlownCorona
surprisingly, it doesnt apear to have a D shape machined into the shaft, instead it appears they have only fitted a shim in place of the butterfly and rely on clamping force alone. Ofcourse there could be a spline hidden amongst those pixels. perhaps @nobody can shed some light.
nobody
Correct its just a billet body adapter over a bosch DBW section, @BlownCorona no shim just clamps on the shaft, but there is no way its going to come loose, or slip, the force needed to move throttles is stuff all, if it ever need to make enough force to try slip it you have bigger issues

BlownCorona
thats fair, a D will limit adjustability to.

Looks like a nice compact unit If you do end up pulling the trigger I would be interested to hear how it goes, like I said, I found them but never ended up buying or using one.

Looks like a nice compact unit Should be same as Peugeot 407 and Ford Territory (lol) which might be easier to come by locally. Also, have you seen the likes of these for the other end? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004062594603.html You might be able to keep your existing pedal and remote mount a cable actuated e-throttle thing.

I have seen them and I would just prefer to lose the accelerator cable all together.. And there's a prius one that could be made to work on a factory pedal

d.p.n.s Posted Saturday at 05:10 Author Share Posted Saturday at 05:10 Built a setup for $35. See if it even works when I get around to building the rest of the motor 😆
