Could be keen depending in pricing next year? Just sorting ECU and wiring at the minute so a fair $$$ sunk.

Looking at $500 in glass or $800 in carbon fiber. still yet to pull one from the mould can start making them early next year.

Anyone have a comprehensive list of all the damn KP bumpers and mounting points?

My bumper needs to be for a flat front BUT mounts to the frame. Others I have seen mount to the wall above the frame vertically.

None of the current mounts I have will work unfortunately and I really need something to work.

Sounds like the same as mine?

There is a lot of business going on in mine that is in the way, but hopefully you can see what is going on here. The bracket also supports the indicator.

This is the right side mount.

So that's the mount and corresponding bumper I have. But not the one I need, my chassis is set up for the type that bolts to the frame from above rather than sideways. If that makes sense!

Really appreciate the photos man! Helps rule it out

Note: earlier and later KP Starlets have a different ignition switch. They're specific to if your barrel has a flat bottom or round.

The earlier completely round barrel style ignition switch is too small in diameter to fit into a slant front (flat barrel) type ignition which has a 40mm diameter for the ignition switch.

Anyone got a slant front glove box striker?

Also any recommendations on someone to swap the diff mounts from my starlet diff to a T series? Also want to add a panhard bar mount while they're there

I have a little press tool for reforming busted door lock holes if you want to use it. It remakes the wee ring that's pressed into the steel if it's been busted out

Cheers dude! I've managed to sort it with a die grinder and some light rasp work. Your tool would definitely be the better way to sort it.

The starlet had a lock hole plus little tabs inside to make a star type pattern.

Not to out anyone on here, but any 370z guys lurking? Looks like its the shortest clutch master I can find. Approx 52mm from flange on firewall to back of body.
Can someone check that measure?

Didnt want to spend $100+ to order one just to try for size. The only one being wrecked, the guys wants to sell me the whole manual conversion....

EDIT: See build thread, took the plunge and it paid off. Hope this helps someone in the future. Its got a dumb mounting face surface against the fire wall. Once I have cut a flange up etc, I might try to get it drawn up in CAD to make it easier for the next person to just get a laser cut one done. Also had to redrill one of the threaded holes on the MC, good thing is that it has a strengthening rib where it was to be drilled. This now lines up with the tabs on the clutch pedal assembly which provides some reinforcement.

Surely someone could 3d print you a badge?

Was thinking the same thing. Could probably even get it done in sweet 3d printed stainless

Ages ago I made a keyring by 3d modelling the EFI badge from a Rover SD1 in Fusion, tracing a photo of it. Ignore the surface finish, I've learnt a lot since then, it was one of the first things I made.

Anyone had an issue with shift lever angle? Mines well on the piss but it had a nice short shift kit in the T50 that the PO had on the gearbox. Wondering of that may be causing some issues. The shift lever is bent in the wrong direction, if it was vertical rather than have a bend, it'd work much better.

Just asking as I don't want to have to get the current one cut and welded and someone may have come across this before.

I read that you can just use a k50 shifter instead which has a better angle. Not tested myself tho

Cheers! I'll do some research on that. I assume same position as a K40? So makes sense

Don't quote me on it but I think k40 and k50 are different.
I just confirmed with me mate - he said that he just removed the shifter from the k50 base and put into the t50 and was good as gold

Oh man thanks so much! Saved me hours and hours of comparing photos online. Legend!
