Nominal
Bit of a WOF list, but not tragically bad. I foresee welding in your future!
Threeonthetree
Get that For Sale sticker off the back window asap (unless it's your number and you're doing it for the Laydeeezzzzzz - Whatever you young people do). Otherwise good work, keep at it mate.
piazzanoob
I Havn't done any welding with panel steel before so I've picked up some scrap bits to do some practice welding with so once I get good enough I'll start my patches on my car. I've pulled that for sale sticker off that back as well after I took the photos
Threeonthetree
I hope you are going to fit a rear bumper to this

chris r
Nah on the Gillies imo. wear out the alternator bearings real fast ( dont know how/if it effects the waterpump) Just supercharge it and get a better noise!
piazzanoob
Everyone says they wear out the alternator bearings quick but they always say they had the belt overadjusted too And the ol 4K's dont seem to handle much boost just destroys them haha just get it for the noise! BLIZZO
I hate gilmers on 4ks, they sound gay as shit because the cars are actually slow, they are expensive, and as said the fuck alternator bearings. If you wanted it to sound slash go better throw the crappy coby extractors in the scrap metal bin, they actually flow less than a stock twin pipe cast manifold. Or spend 500 having Sheldon Rush make a set of his super lush 4-2-1 tuned length headers. That's the way to go and is what my rally car will be getting when I have some spare coin
cute wee gem
spend the 650 bucks on a 4age or similar?

Threeonthetree
Lucas Coil mayte. V can looks okay but something different would be better. Find some obscure can that nobody has.
Steelies
i'd go for a floppy gym sock over the V can, it's unique, flea from the chillipeppers would roll it as a costume, and you can use it to clean the dipstick. cool starlet. yeah forget the shiny bolt-on bits and throw your money at making the car sweet to use. trust me, it'll make sense in a couple years.
piazzanoob
(V)omit can, needs an MSD blaster coil yeah but i cant justify them for that price over 100$ just for very little performance gain and for something that looks good

kyteler
What's up with those pop rivets? Also, not sure you're cutting out enough.
BLIZZO
Yea take well more than you need to out, I bet you some of that steel looks good on the outside but will be rusting on the inside
piazzanoob
What's up with those pop rivets? Also, not sure you're cutting out enough. previous person who had done work on it used pop rivets to hold all the door rubbers in. only doing the spots that are showing rust atm best thing would be to unstitch the inside of the doors and redo all of it but thats a massive job. remeber you cant stop rust it will always come back in these cars all i can do is pervent it and fix the bits it has. tortron
are you going to repaint it? better to put in a propper patch, so it wont rust through 2 months after you paint it
