crash
Shit yeah, read all the postings on this a while back. Ticks all of the boxes for me, i.e. Fiat, wagon, blue, 6 cylinder. Love it. Love it!
azzurro
Thanks duders, nice to know theres a lot of love for this old bus. I actually had a back up plan of the 125, which has a 5 speed gear box and is much better suited to both long drives and moder traffic, but turns out the hanger bearing is flogged out (that will be the drive train shudder then) so thats a no go. I have some sika flex in it at teh mo, but have run out of time. Â Wagon it is!
VitesseEFI
Nice. Not sure I’ve ever seen an estate/wagon version in the flesh. Fella across the road from us in Malawi (!) had a saloon version in an orangey colour. Sounded nice. He rescued it from a scrapyard and had trouble getting parts for it as quite possibly it was the only one in the country. This was in about 1976…. His neighbour had a Unimog 404 LWB. Also scrapyard rescue, dragged home by the Fiat - which had a new clutch soon after!
cletus
How good. From being left to fester in a carport, to hooning reliably for 2000km around the countryside, making raspy italian noises the whole way A crisp high 5 to you sir.
