  1. I there's an old mine cart on a farm I go to occasionally, probably same size. Next time I'm there I'll take some pics. Near Methven, Canterbury.
  2. Anyone know torque settings for a 8mm drive shaft bolt? Front wheel drive 1989 Celica, bolts shaft & CV shit together.
  3. Thanks for your replies. As GuyWithAviators said, theres none in NZ, 2 - 3 weeks from Japan. Amayama approx half price and shipping is cheap. How do you tag someone with the blue oblong thing?
  4. While the topic has kinda turned to Toyota parts, anyone know where I can get a set of 6 of these? 1989 Celica I'm sorting out to sell for my son. https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~bolt~serration~for~differential~side~gear~shaft~90114-08006.html
  5. Recently got this Oleo-mac chainsaw which goes well. Except for spraying out chainbar lube. Stripped it down a bit and found this ugly burnt patch directly under the exhaust. There is a hole approx 5mm diameter under the chrispy shit. Question, does high temp JB Weld stick/bond to plastic OK? It seems that it's designed more for sticking to steel. any one got some recommendations? Cheers
  6. Try what GregT mentioned above. Or maybe a ferrite ring thing around trigger cable.
  7. Cables being in line for 2m would be unlikely to cause enough induced voltage. Unless trigger is quite a bit less than 5v?
  8. https://www.bikebound.com/2020/02/25/silver-wasp/ Here's another one similar I saw some time ago. My father has a 1983-ish R100RT sitting in his shed (lapsed rego) that I jokingly threatened to strip down.
  9. Hi Pee Dubs, could you tell me what year this Honda is please? I have one the same / same tank graphics and am struggling to identify the year of manufacture. Frame # MD10 5000672 Engine # MD10E - 5000639 An email to Blue Wing Honda didn't help much, just told me it's a XL200FWD. Any info would be appreciated, bit of a long shot, but I would like to get this road legal. Cheers
  10. Shit yeah, read all the postings on this a while back. Ticks all of the boxes for me, i.e. Fiat, wagon, blue, 6 cylinder. Love it. Love it!
  11. Try google-ing Carl Salter for lots of bike manuals.
  12. Thanks for the advice, looks like a better bigger puller and more heat.
