In taking it up to the Alps for the weekend with felixx junior

So she is packed and ready to go

We Headed west and stopped to admire the view of the Alps:

 

 

Then we entered the beautiful weather:

 

It was about 20 min later I was trying to climb a steep muddy track in an outlander that i learnt the joys of sliding backwards with wheels spinning and the choice of jacknife or roll.

 

Needless to say nothing was damaged except my pride.

I finally broke the (female)wall of resistance to building my own teardrop! It only took several months after pining for one at Hanmer.

Well friday was a nice day, so I left work early and took the kids to Spencer Park, A camp ground 15 min from home.

We had a nice time with Sausages for tea, Marshmallows roasted over coals

 

Fed some random third kid

 

Played on some logs

 

Flew a kite

 

Came home Sat morning and did the gardening etc

So I bundled the kids

The fishing rods, the .22, the flounder spear, snorkelling gear etc into the outlander and we were off:

Weather was good

We caught some fish, played on the beach, set a net, gathered some tuatuas, mussels, cockles and crabs

7 months today actually so I got a little ways to go.
